Effective date: 10 October 2026 (updated from the version of 8 October 2026)
UNIO SOLUTIONS CO., LTD. (“the Company”, “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it when you message us and when you use our services, in line with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA).
We use two internal systems, which customers do not use directly:
Unio Inbox (inbox.unio-solutions.com) — for our staff to reply to customers who message our LINE Official Account and our Facebook Page (Messenger)
Unio Works (works.unio-solutions.com) — for our staff and technicians to record service jobs, appointments, quotations and receipts
Information we collect
When you message us, we only collect information from customers who message us first:
The user ID that LINE or Facebook issues specifically for our business account (LINE User ID, Facebook Page-Scoped ID)
Your display name and profile picture, as provided by LINE or Facebook
Messages, images, files, stickers and their timestamps — both those you send and our staff’s replies
Information our staff add to serve you: tags, internal notes and contact status
When you use our service (a repair or cleaning visit), we record what you give us by chat or phone or what we find on site:
Your name, phone number and how you contacted us
The service address or map location
Appliance details such as brand, model, symptoms, what we found and how we fixed it
On-site photos and videos (e.g. before and after, model labels, parts) and proof of transfer payments
Appointment dates, prices, payments, quotations and receipts
If you do not want us to process this information, we cannot reply to you by chat, but you can still contact us by phone.
How we use it
Only to answer your questions, provide service information or quotations, schedule and carry out the service, issue receipts, keep you updated on the job's status, and provide after-service care for the job you contacted us about.
We never sell your data
No advertising use
No marketing messages
Outside business hours, an automatic reply lets you know we will get back to you. We make no other automated decisions.
Legal basis
Taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, or to provide our service (PDPA Section 24(3))
Our legitimate interest in following up on and managing service requests (PDPA Section 24(5))
Compliance with the law, such as keeping accounting and tax records (PDPA Section 24(6))
Who can access it
Only Company staff who have been given a user account and sign in with a password. If we send you a job status link, whoever opens it must first confirm the last 4 digits of your phone number; it shows only the status, job details, amounts and the photos we chose to share (never your address or phone number), and it expires 30 days after the job is closed. We do not disclose your data to anyone else, except the following service providers that the system needs to work:
LINE (LY Corporation) and Meta Platforms — the platforms you use to message us; data on those platforms is governed by their own privacy policies
ReadyIDC — our server provider in Thailand, where the data is stored
Cloudflare — network and connection-encryption provider; data passes through but is not permanently stored
Retention
Chat history: kept while we are in contact or providing service, and for no more than 2 years after your last contact, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Service job records: kept for warranty and after-service care for no more than 5 years after your latest job, or until you ask us to delete them. At that point we delete everything that identifies you (name, phone number, address, photos and videos) and keep only anonymous amounts and job descriptions for as long as accounting and tax law requires.
Backup copies are kept for no more than 30 days and then deleted automatically.
Security
All connections are encrypted with HTTPS, access to the systems requires a user account and password, each system can reach only the data its work needs, and the server is protected by a firewall.
